Where did all the yellow lights go?

Okay, I have no idea what that means, too, but it was the first thing to come to mind.

I'm still alive. I guess. The good news is that I'm still at the same job, after close to a year. This is good news.

Feeling depressed lately...I'm sure no one wants to hear me whine, so if anyone is interested, go take a look at what I've been working on lately...namely, I've been trying out Linux again, and posting my thoughts and so forth about what I'm doing. I'm doing it over at mollities.livejournal.com. I tend to pay at least a little bit more attention to that than this blog, though I may start trolling around here once more...we shall see what the future brings.

Another day, another job...wait...

Started a new job this week at a small network app developer in support. Hoping it goes well, has started out pretty good so far. Will try to keep posted this time, and actually come around once in a while.

How do you define "Whelmed"?

Well, I don't really have anything much to post about, but it has been a really long time, and I feel badly that I am neglecting this again. Not many checking up, but still...I said I would be here, and I haven't been.

Bad news and good news. Bad news is that my contract at work was ended two weeks ago. Good news is that I have been extended an offer for another job, one that will pay less but include medical benifits and last much longer. Those are two really good benifits, if you ask me.

Well, other than that, just being lazy. Playing too much Warcraft, watching too much M*A*S*H (I love the fact that you can turn off the laugh track on the DVD release...I now own half of the series, from season 4 through 8...plan to get the rest over a month or two), and not doing enough productive things other than putting out applications. Funny thing is that the job I was offered wasn't even one I applied for...it was one a friend I used to work with put me in for.

Guess I will be working with him again! Cool, I like him...he's funny!

Other than that, love life not going so well...girlfriend complaining that I am not romantic enough, don't write to her enough, blah blah...Sorry, just cranky right now, both of us.

I don't have anything else to write about today, but I will at least try to be more up to things in the future. I feel like I've been saying that a lot lately.

We regret to inform you that Laurel Raven will be incapacitated temporarily due to an unfortunate accident where by she encountered a terrible, bloodsucking creature known as "World Of Warcraft", which has drained all of her time and energy for anything else. We hope that she will be able to resurface soon, but fear that she may be forever lost.

Return of the Raven

It is late, I don't have long, but I am hoping to write more soon. All I will say is that this is a very, very odd time in my life, and I understand almost none of it. Will I write about it? Maybe. I will write about something, that is for sure.

For now, I will say that, without a doubt, The Raven is here, and she is not going anywhere soon. Peace to all two of you still reading.

Meanie, tell your ma-ma I said hi! Ellie, I hope your computer problems find resolution soon! I would help if I knew a damn thing about Macs.

Uncle Jack Strikes Back!

Ohh...I'm not so sure that was a great idea. A little cheese, though, and I feel a bit better.

Anyway, just wanted to holler out to everyone, see how you all were doing! Yes, all two of you who actually read my blog.

Well, can't stay up for an hour tonight typing an entry, as I have to be to work tomorrow for a weekend shift, 8am sharp! So, I will just post an update on my live journal, polish off my cup of Jack, and be off to bed!
